Pitch Black Bow Drill Fire....Listen (See the Box Below)
Sight is an important sense, This Personal Challenge was by far one of the hardest I have had to over come. Granted the bow drill set was completed prior to darkness however, relying on sound and smell alone for this obstacle put the entire fire by friction “world” upside down………Challenge yourself everyday……Life is a competition…This was performed using pine for a hearth board and mule fat for a spindle, Pine bark for a socket, and pine for the bow……..with 550 paracord string.
